Scoring at Goodwill

Monday, September 26, 2011

I headed to Goodwill last week to look for some houseware items for some DIY projects I was working on. While there, I decided to look at the clothes because why not?

I ended up finding three shirts, a sweater, and a pair of black skinny jeans for around $30.

I bought this polka dot blouse AND the black skinny jeans. Oh yeah, those are Sevens. My first pair!

I was so excited to find this dorky fruit sweater! I'm pretty sure, based on the look of it and the label, that it's actually vintage, maybe from the 80s. At Topshop in London, I saw a ton of "Rachel Berry" type sweaters, with goofy things like rabbits and squirrels on them, but they were a bit out of budget. This was a much better deal!

I basically live in gray T-shirts, so I picked up this American Apparel shirt with owls on it.

And a gal can never have to many flannel shirts. So I bought this one.

Dang, Gina. Looks like I will be shopping at Goodwill more often from now on.

Wow, so many great finds! I haven't been to a Goodwill for years, but now I think I need to make a trip to check out all the clothes!

great finds! I could live in thrift stores around here. Great mix of fun vintage pieces, and quality, lightly worn brand names.

All cute. I especially like the polka dot top. Which Goodwill did you hit?
