October Photography Challenge: Days One and Two

In an effort to get more comfy with my camera and bond with some of my fellow bloggers, I'm participating in an October photography challenge. Here are the prompts. It looks like it's only a 30-day challenge, so I guess that means no photos on Halloween. Or maybe a bonus photo if I wear a really embarrassing costume.

I actually did the prompt for October 1 yesterday, but I was in Dallas at the Rangers v. Rays playoff game, so I didn't have a chance to post.

This is in the bathroom at the hotel where my mom and brothers were staying in Dallas. It was the only decent mirror option of the day.
